Lauren is a certified Holistic Nutritionist, a puppy mama and a passionate foodie. Her focus is on balancing women’s hormones, restoring healthy periods and helping women reclaim their vitality and glow with delicious food and wellness support.
After a BA, a post-grad and five years working in advertising, Lauren felt burnt-out, uninspired and was struggling with symptoms of hormonal imbalance. She hopped from diet to diet, hoping it would be the one that would solve all of her issues. The reality was, none of them did – in fact they left her feeling more depleted, disconnected from her body and fearful of even nourishing foods. After years of following a conventional medical approach and a deep-down passion for health, Lauren decided it was time to choose a different path.
She became a Culinary Nutrition Expert at the Academy of Culinary Nutrition, where she fell in love with food and its therapeutic properties. This then led her to become certified as a Holistic Nutritionist at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, where she graduated with honours. Lauren has also participated in a number of Continued Education programs in the areas of gut health, women’s health and fertility, staying up to date as she cares for her clients.
Lauren is passionate about supporting and empowering women that are struggling with unexplained and frustrating symptoms, have pushed self-care and healthy eating to the wayside in favour of convenience or survival (eating leftovers over the sink – we’ve all been there), and women that have accepted the feeling of ‘good enough yet far from good’ for too long.
Outside of the clinic, Lauren spends her time in the kitchen healthifying her favourite comfort foods (she’s even won over her husband and his hearty appetite), moving outside in nature (a non-negotiable for her!) or in a barre, breathwork or spin class.
